About The Luminescent Mind

At The Luminescent Mind Counseling and Consultation Services, we believe healing begins when your story is heard, your identity is honored, and your light is allowed to shine. Founded by Dr. Katheryne Puentes, a dedicated therapist, educator, and advocate, The Luminescent Mind exists to walk alongside individuals and families as they navigate the complexities of life, trauma, and identity. We specialize in supporting women, children, teens, and families, focusing on mental wellness through a trauma-informed lens that honors family systems, boundaries, and cultural experiences. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, or simply feeling stuck, we’re here to offer guidance, reflection, and tools to help you grow. Our services include: Individual and family therapy (ages 4 to 65+) Parenting support and school-based presentations Coping skills development for kids, teens, and adults. Community workshops Clinical supervision for interns and new professionals Consultation and collaboration with schools, libraries, and community partners With a playful blend of professional insight, metaphor, and motivational grounding, we offer a safe space for people to heal and rediscover themselves. Whether it’s through our 365-day mental health journal, CBT-based planners, or tree-climbing therapy metaphors (yes, we get creative!), The Luminescent Mind is committed to helping people reconnect with their inner light—even on the hardest days. We're more than a counseling center—we're a community, a movement, and a light in dark spaces. Let’s grow together! https://www.theluminescentmind.com
